This is Europe at its finest — intimate, inspiring, and utterly unforgettable.

    Special Notes:

•This program includes extended walking on cobblestone streets, hills, and uneven terrain, especially in historic towns and castle sites. It is not recommended for guests with limited mobility or those requiring wheelchairs, walkers, scooters or canes. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.

•Please advise the RSSC Reservations team when you book this program should you have any special dietary restrictions or requirements. Requests will be send to our local ground operators for review.

•A minimum of ten guests is required to operate this small group and exclusive to Regent Seven Seas program.

    DAY 1

Upon arrival at Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), guests will be greeted by a local representative who will facilitate transfer to the hotel. Please note that transfer duration is typically 30–40 minutes, though this may vary according to arrival time and traffic conditions.

Hotel check-in is available from 3:00pm. For guests arriving prior to this time, luggage storage is provided at the hotel. You are welcome to enjoy the hotel's amenities or explore the immediate vicinity at your leisure.

Your first evening in Germany will be spent at The Florentin, a contemporary and elegant hotel located in the center of Frankfurt. With close proximity to luxury shopping, museums, and the Main river promenade, the location is well-suited for independent exploration before your tour officially commences.

The afternoon is yours to spend as you prefer and all meals are on your own today. Whether you choose to relax after your journey, browse nearby retail areas, or enjoy refreshments at a local café, you are free to settle-in comfortably.

A hospitality desk will be staffed at the hotel from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, providing an opportunity to meet your guide, obtain answers to any inquiries, and receive support regarding local arrangements or details of your program.

    DAY 2

Following breakfast at your hotel, check out and meet your guide. Today will be a day filled with breathtaking scenery, cultural treasures, and culinary highlights as you make your way toward the Mosel Valley.

Your journey begins with a drive to the charming village of Assmannshausen, where you will board a riverboat for a short but unforgettable Rhine River cruise, offering panoramic views of steep vineyards, medieval castles, and riverside villages.

Upon arrival in Rüdesheim, enjoy a scenic cable car ride up to the Niederwald Monument, a dramatic viewpoint overlooking the Rhine. After taking in the landscape and learning about the site’s historical significance, ride the cable car back down and continue to a beautiful hilltop estate for lunch at the renowned Burg Schwarzenstein, where local ingredients and seasonal cuisine are served with award-winning wines.

In the afternoon, visit the majestic Eberbach Monastery, a former Cistercian abbey famed for its wine-making history and striking Romanesque architecture — also a filming location for The Name of the Rose. Afterward, continue your drive along the scenic route to the heart of the Mosel wine region.

Upon arrival at the 5-star Schloss Lieser, a restored neo-Renaissance castle overlooking the Mosel River, check in and enjoy the atmosphere of this remarkable property. With original artwork, curated interiors, and vineyard views, the hotel offers a perfect blend of history and boutique luxury.

Dinner is on your own this evening — you may choose to dine at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant or take a short walk to a nearby local tavern.

    DAY 3

Following breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and set off for a day that blends ancient history with refined regional flavor.

Begin with a short drive to Trier, Germany’s oldest city, founded by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. During a comprehensive walking tour, discover the city’s most iconic sites — including the UNESCO-listed Porta Nigra, the Imperial Baths, and the Roman Amphitheater — while your guide brings history to life with rich storytelling and context.

After the tour, enjoy some free time to explore Trier’s charming Old Town or visit a local café. Lunch will follow at a carefully selected restaurant, such as Gastraum by Villa Hügel, offering seasonal regional cuisine with modern flair and views over the city.

In the afternoon, transfer to a nearby prestigious Mosel winery, where you’ll be welcomed for a private wine tour and tasting. Learn about the unique terroir of the Mosel Valley and sample three signature Rieslings — crisp, elegant, and expressive of the region’s steep-slope vineyards.

After the tasting, return to your hotel, just a short walk from the winery. The rest of the evening is at leisure. You may relax at the hotel’s spa, stroll through the gardens, or enjoy a quiet dinner on your own.

    DAY 4

Following breakfast at the hotel, settle any incidentals and check out before meeting your guide for a full-day journey through the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg — a country where medieval charm meets modern elegance.

Begin with a scenic drive across the border into the capital, Luxembourg City, where your local guide will lead a walking tour through the UNESCO-listed Old Town, exploring highlights such as the Grand Ducal Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the dramatic Bock Casemates, a fortress carved into the cliffs.

After some free time to explore the vibrant center at your own pace, enjoy lunch at the stylish Brasserie du Cercle, offering refined Luxembourgish cuisine with a view over Place d’Armes.

In the afternoon, continue to the picturesque countryside to visit the medieval Castle of Beaufort, a romantic ruin surrounded by forest. From there, travel on to the fairytale-like village of Vianden, nestled in the hills and famed for its own storybook castle and winding cobblestone streets.

Your final cultural stop of the day will be in Echternach, the oldest town in Luxembourg, known for its baroque abbey and peaceful riverside setting. Afterward, drive to your hotel in Luxembourg City and check in for the night.

You will stay at Sofitel Luxembourg Europe, located in the modern Kirchberg district. The evening is at your leisure and dinner is on own.

    DAY 5

Following breakfast at the hotel, settle any incidentals and check out before meeting your guide for the next leg of the journey.

Today you’ll travel north into Germany’s vibrant cultural capital on the Rhine — Cologne. Upon arrival, begin with a guided visit to the city’s most iconic landmark, the awe-inspiring Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After a short walk through the historic center and some free time to browse local shops or enjoy a riverside view, sit down for lunch at a carefully chosen local restaurant featuring regional specialties.

In the afternoon, visit the charming and interactive Chocolate Museum, where you’ll trace the history of cocoa and see how fine chocolate is made — with tastings, of course.

Later, check in to your 5-star hotel: the majestic Schloss Bensberg, a baroque palace-turned-luxury hotel perched above the Rhine with panoramic views.

In the early evening, enjoy a short transfer to Brauwelt Köln, Cologne’s oldest brewery complex. Here, experience a true taste of local life with a private brewery tour, Kölsch beer tasting, and a traditional 3-course dinner in a historic setting — the perfect cultural close to your journey through Western Europe.

    DAY 6

Following breakfast at the hotel, settle any incidentals and check out before departing for Amsterdam.

Enjoy a comfortable drive through the landscapes of western Germany and the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam around midday.

En route, pause for a relaxing refreshment break — an opportunity to enjoy a drink and light snack before the final leg of the journey.

Upon arrival in Amsterdam, transfer directly to the cruise port for embarkation.

We trust this journey has offered moments of discovery, delight, and lasting memories across the cultural and historic heart of Western Europe.
