The discovery of oil in 1958 transformed this rural backwater into a modern metropolis with the highest per-capita income in the world. Today, Abu Dhabi boasts extraordinary sky scrapers, shopping malls, top quality hotels, tree-lined boulevards and picturesque gardens, while still maintaining a subtle Arabian mystique. Sail the lovely Gulf waters and numerous islands surrounding the city in a traditional dhow; tour heritage Village, a living museum where artisans ply their traditional crafts; or shop the central souk area for gold and Bedouin silver jewelry.

Special Notes
•This program involves walking distances at times over uneven ground and steps will need to be negotiated in some locations. It is not recommended for guests who require use of wheelchair, walker or cane
•Please advise the RSSC Reservations team when you book this program should you have any special dietary restrictions or requirements. Requests will be send to our local ground operators for review.
DAY 1 – April 25, 2027
Disembark the ship in Abu Dhabi and meet your guide. Your post-cruise journey begins with a guided visit to the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi, where you’ll explore a captivating collection of art and historical treasures from around the world.
Next, you’ll visit the Zayed National Museum, where you’ll gain insight into the visionary leadership and enduring legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE.
You’ll then enjoy lunch at Rosewater Restaurant or a similar venue before proceeding to your hotel in Abu Dhabi for check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.
Your hotel, the St. Regis Abu Dhabi masterfully combines authentic Arabian hospitality with over a century of the signature St. Regis bespoke tradition. This luxury beachside hotel offers direct access to the exclusive Nation Riviera Beach Club, complete with a state-of-the-art health and fitness center, a beautiful swimming pool, and a pristine private beach. It is located adjacent to the Nation Galleria Mall—with many retail outlets, a cinema, and diverse entertainment options—the hotel also enjoys close proximity to the sophisticated Al Bateen district, Qasr Al Watan and Emirates Palace.
DAY 2 – April 26, 2027
Following breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and set off on an exciting journey to Dubai. Upon arrival, you’ll step back in time with a visit to the Shindagha Museum, where you’ll explore the city’s rich heritage and maritime history.
Next, cross the historic Dubai Creek aboard a traditional abra (boat) taking in the old city’s charm as you make your way to the bustling spice and gold souks, where the scents, colors, and glittering displays offer an unforgettable sensory experience.
Afterward, enjoy a flavorful Lebanese lunch at Abd El Wahab, offering stunning views of the Dubai Fountain.
The afternoon takes you to new heights—literally—with a visit to the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa, where breathtaking panoramic views await. You’ll then explore the future at Expo City, visiting the Pavilion for Sustainability and Alif.
After a full day of discovery, you’ll return to Abu Dhabi in the evening filled with new insights and memorable moments.
DAY 3 – April 27, 2027
Following breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and begin your morning with a visit to the majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, where you’ll be inspired by its stunning architecture and serene beauty.
Next, you’ll explore Qasr Al Watan, the Presidential Palace, offering a deeper understanding of the UAE’s governance, history, and cultural legacy.
Your journey continues at Qasr Al Hosn, the oldest stone building in Abu Dhabi, where you’ll discover the story of the city’s transformation from a humble fishing village to a modern capital.
After a morning filled with discovery, you’ll enjoy lunch at Rosewater Restaurant or a similar venue before heading back to the hotel for a short rest.
In the evening, you’ll be transferred to the peaceful Emirati desert for a unique cultural experience where you’ll reconnect with nature and discover the traditions of the Bedouin people. The Ezba, not to be confused with a farm, was a place where families once raised animals – sheep, goats and native desert animals such as camels – and passed on skills to younger generations. During this experience you’ll interact with camels, falcons and Arabian horses (no riding of the animals), taste traditional Arabic coffee as the sun sets over the desert, and then gather around a bonfire for an evening under the stars, ending with a memorable and authentic Emirati dinner.
The day concludes with your return to the hotel, filled with new perspectives and unforgettable memories.
