    Spend one evening in Sydney and then escape to the pristine and world’s oldest living Rainforest, the World Heritage listed Daintree, where one will indulge in a three-night emersion into this enchanting region. Experience true nature and culture during this combination of Rainforest, Great Barrier Reef and Australian Aboriginal culture on a program designed for a small number of guests (maximum 10). Your stay in the Rainforest is at Silky Oaks Lodge, renowned as one of Australia’s luxury resorts and the perfect hub for exploring the tropical North Queensland.

    Note: Due to the nature of this program, it is not recommended for guests who require use of a wheelchair. Accessible accommodations are limited to one room at the lodge which must be requested in advance. Any guests travelling with Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines should read further below for airline stipulations with regards to bringing this equipment on tour.

    DAY 1

    Arrive at the Sydney International Airport. You will be met for a private transfer to your city-based hotel. Your driver will meet you outside of the gates located after you collect your luggage and pass through customs.

    Early check in has been guaranteed at the hotel so your room will be available as soon as you arrive regardless of flight time.

    The remainder of the day is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

    The hotel is conveniently located in a prime location in the city center so it will be easy to set out and explore the city on your own.

    During your stay you will be assigned a Regent representative. Contact details will be provided to you with his/her name and number should you require anything. Please check your welcome letter for these details as well as the meeting time and location for your airport transfer tomorrow.

    Please see luggage details further below and pack accordingly for the flight to Cairns on the following day.

    DAY 2

    Following breakfast, transfer to the Sydney domestic airport for a flight to Cairns.

    Excess luggage will be stored at the hotel and retrieved on Day 5.

    Upon arrival in Cairns enjoy a scenic 1 ½ hour drive up the magnificent coastline to your accommodation at Silky Oaks Lodge which is located in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest. Set above the flowing Mossman River and among the canopy of the rainforest, you will surely feel enveloped by the sights and sounds of the natural theatre surrounding you.

    Your treehouse-style suite is set high in the rainforest and includes a king bed, spacious ensuite with shower, floor to ceiling windows, rainforest views, a generous outdoor balcony and a private deck with bathtub and open-air shower.

    Check in time at the lodge is at 3:00pm. Although every effort will be made to have rooms available sooner, this cannot be guaranteed. Guests arriving quite early may wish to book an extra night so there is a room available upon arrival.

    Depending on your arrival time, lunch will be provided at the lodge and then you will be free to explore the property or relax in your suite overlooking the tranquil Rainforest.

    Self-guided walking maps will be provided on arrival allowing you the opportunity to explore some of the surrounding rainforest walks accessible only to inhouse guests.

    On check in, your preferred dining time can be established, and a booking will be made in the property’s magnificent restaurant. Dinner and evening drinks are included during your stay.

    DAY 3

    After a wonderful tropical breakfast overlooking the river and canopy, meet your guide for this morning’s adventure.

    A short but scenic drive through sugarcane farms takes you to the neighboring town of Mossman, the home of Mossman Gorge and some of the traditional owners of this land.

    Meet a representative from the cultural center and embark on a journey of walking and storytelling to showcase the natural beauty of the rainforest as well as the dream time stories and cultural insight into the region.

    Following this magical experience return to your retreat and relax over lunch. The afternoon is at your leisure to take advantage the peaceful scenery or partake in one of the activities offered at the lodge.

    Silky Oaks Lodge offers a range of complimentary lodge-based activities including guided yoga classes, self-guided walks and swimming in the Mossman River. Snorkels and fins, as well as river canoes and kayaks and electronic bikes are provided for guest use. The lodge also offers a daily set-schedule shuttle transfer to port Douglas. Note, some activities are shared with fellow guests and operate at scheduled times.

    DAY 4

    After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby and set out to explore the Great Barrier Reef in style.

    Transfer to the town of Port Douglas where you will embark on an exclusive vessel just for our group. You will spend the day on the water with the opportunity to snorkel at the pristine Great Barrier Reef.

    Lunch, snorkel gear, snacks and Lycra suits are all provided on the vessel along with a chilled box with some basic beverages to enjoy during the day.

    Returning to the lodge, dinner and drinks are again enjoyed overlooking the rainforest.

    Note: Guests should bring a towel. Scuba Diving is not available.

    DAY 5

    Depending on flight time, enjoy breakfast or a breakfast box will be provided. Depart on a coastal drive to the Cairns Airport where you will board a flight to Sydney.

    Upon arrival in Sydney the group will be met after baggage claim and transferred to the port where you will embark the ship. Note: Guests are not escorted on the flight.

    Expected Weather:

    Part of the Wet Tropics of Queensland World Heritage Area, the Daintree climate is characterized by two distinct seasons: the dry season and the green season. The dry season occurs from April to November which sees warm days and cool nights with low humidity ranging in temperature from 19-30°C. December to March is considered the green season as the days and nights are hotter with frequent restorative showers and temperatures between 22-32°C.

    What to Bring:

    Dress is relaxed at Silky Oaks Lodge. Easy to wear, resort style clothing for daytime and smart casual attire for evening is recommended. Comfortable, solid footwear for rainforest walks is essential as is a hat and sunscreen. Also bring a bathing suit, your own snorkel gear if you do not wish to use what is provided on the reef tour, camera, underwear camera, chargers.

    Mains voltage in Australia is 230V 50Hz. The plugs in Australia have two flat metal pins shaped live a ‘V’ and some may contain a third flat pin in the center. We recommend bringing a universal travel adaptor for electric devices.

    Luggage information

    For the internal flights between Sydney and Cairns, standard luggage allowance is one piece of luggage weighing no more than 23kg per bag. Guests can also bring one personal item and one standard carry on size piece that can fit in the overhead bin or under the seat. Anything additional to this will be payable by guests at the time of check in for the flight to Sydney.

    Alternatively, guests who will have excess luggage, can also store it at the Marriott Hotel free of charge and it will either be brought to the pier for embarkation or the group will pick it up on route to the ship.

    1. Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.

    2. The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type)

    3. These documents need to be sent to the Land Program Team via Reservations at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).

    4. Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which the cruise line nor our local ground operator be responsible for.

    5. Guests should bring with them on the flight any paperwork from their doctor and /or specific details that explain the type of device they are bringing on board. Each brand should have a website with paperwork that can be printed for flight.

    The name on your cruise booking, passport and any visas if required, must all be exactly the same for flight ticket purchase for this program otherwise guests may be denied travel by flight. Manifests generated by the cruise line must match your travel documents.

    Failure to have the required documents ahead of time will result in denial of travel and guests will have to pay for any expenses incurred in order to not proceed with the program.

    DAY 1

    Upon arrival at the Sydney International Airport, you will pass through customs, collect your luggage and meet your private driver outside the gates shortly afterwards. You will then transfer to the Wildlife Retreat, your eco-friendly accommodations located inside the Taronga Zoo.

    Check-in at the retreat is 3:00pm. Although every effort will be made to have rooms available sooner, this cannot be guaranteed. For guests flying in early, you may wish to book an extra night so that a room is available upon your arrival.

    Once checked in, guests will be free to explore Taronga Zoo when it is open, from the day you arrive through the day you depart. The zoo closes at 4:30pm in the winter and 5:00pm in the summer. You can enter the zoo directly from the Wildlife Retreat. No extra tickets or passes are needed. Your room key will provide entry into the zoo and back into the retreat throughout your stay.

    Your Bushland room has views overlooking a variety native trees and flora. Keep an eye out for the wild birds amongst the bush.

    In the evening, dinner is included at the Me-Gal restaurant onsite and can be enjoyed at your leisure. Guests just need to drop by or call the reception desk to confirm a preferred dining time.

    Note: A guide will not be staying with the group at the hotel.     Following breakfast in the Me-Gal restaurant, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to the ferry terminal, where you will take a boat shuttle across Sydney Harbor and into the downtown.

    Start with a walk to the Sydney Botanical Gardens, where you will have the opportunity to learn about vast species of Australian plant life that are located in the middle of the city.

    Next, visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales for a guided tour of the newest Sydney Modern Project, which showcases both modern art and remarkable works by Aboriginal artists.

    For an insight into the history of Sydney and the arrival of the first settlers in 1788, you will walk through the historical and cultural area known as The Rocks. There in a pub, you will enjoy an Australian pizza for lunch with a glass of beer or wine.

    In the afternoon, you will return to The Wilderness Retreat and tour The Sanctuary with a park ranger. You can expect an up-close and personal experience with indigenous animals such as koalas, wallabies and echidnas. The ranger will provide you with exclusive access to areas of the park not accessible to the general public, allowing you to meet these remarkable animals and have a real conversation with the experts on the conservation and protection of these unique species.

    The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Dinner is included at the Me-Gal restaurant.

    Note: Today will include a fair amount of walking, therefore we recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes and light, loose clothing along with lots of sun protection. Also note, animals may not be held in the state of New South Wales.

    DAY 3

    Following breakfast in the Me-Gal restaurant, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and set out for a tour of the Ku Ring Gai National Park.

    Here you will find a multitude of gum trees, also known as eucalyptus. Your guide will share stories and showcase how life was for the original inhabitants prior to colonization of the country. Be sure to look for various rock-art sites while you drive through the park.

    Continuing on, arrive to Broken Bay Pearl Farm, where you will meet a group of passionate oyster and pearl cultivators. The visit will provide you with an insight into the area’s natural beauty on land and during a cruise on the Hawkesbury River, where you will see the saltwater paddocks. Learn why the environment there is ideal for growing oysters of all varieties and in turn how oysters give back to people and place.

    Following your visit, return to The Wildlife Retreat for an afternoon at leisure. This is the perfect time to visit the zoo or perhaps head back to the city center to explore on your own.

    The evening is also at your leisure with dinner included at the Me-Gal restaurant.

    DAY 4

    Following breakfast in the Me-Gal restaurant, you will check out and meet your guide in the hotel lobby.

    Driving north, you will explore the more uncrowded beaches of Sydney. Your destination is Palm Beach, a quintessential beach town where the Australian show “Home and Away” was filmed. Affectionately known as “Palmy” by locals, Palm Beach is located at the end of a long peninsula and boasts beautiful golden sand and clear water, which has inspired the wealthy to build their holiday homes there.

    You will have time to enjoy the vistas before sitting down to lunch in a beach-style restaurant, allowing you to take in the vibe and culture of this beach community.

    Afterwards, you will return to the cruise terminal in Sydney and embark the ship.

    Upon arrival to Sydney International Airport, you will be greeted by a private chauffeur who will transfer you to your hotel in the heart of the Sydney city centre.

    DAY 2

    Following a hearty breakfast at your hotel you will begin your adventure to the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. Your guide will meet you this morning at the Harrington Street Entrance of your hotel and give you an introduction to the best of what the Blue Mountains has to offer.

    Your first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill; a working farm also home to Kangaroos, Emus, Wombats and Koalas. Enjoy morning tea here and time to wander at your leisure.

    From Calmsley Hill, continue to ascend the Blue Mountains via the Bells Line of Road. The journey takes you via Richmond, Windsor and Kurrajong before passing by the beautiful orchards of Bilpin. Arrive mid-morning at the Mt. Tomah Botanical Gardens. Sitting at 850 meters above sea level, the Mt. Tomah Botanical Gardens are the most elevated gardens in Australia.

    Continue with a scenic drive through the picturesque Mt Wilson around to Blackheath, stopping enroute to enjoy the stunning views from Govetts Leap Lookout.

    Enjoy lunch in the historic Hydro Majestic Hotel which has stunning views across the valley. Enjoy a 2-course lunch in the gorgeous Boilerhouse Café (or similar venue).

    From here, it is then on to Scenic World, renowned for providing the ultimate Blue Mountains adventure - from native birdlife and mountain fresh air to breathtaking views of the World Heritage-listed region including the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and Jamison Valley. Your options here include taking a journey on the world's steepest incline railway, glide between clifftops on the glass-floored Skyway suspended 270 metres in the air, descend into the ancient Jamison Valley by Cableway or explore Jurassic rainforest along the 2.4 kilometres walkway - the longest boardwalk in Australia.

    After this amazing day, you will arrive at Lilianfels Resort & Spa, perched at the edge of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains.

    DAY 3

    Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel prior to departing for a visit to the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park, home of the famous Three Sisters in Katoomba.

    Upon arrival you will be joined by a Ranger who will share stories and explain the ancient traditions of one of the world’s oldest living cultures. You will even have a chance to taste the local Bushtucker. For those that want to stretch their legs, you can join the ranger for a short hike and take in the sights and smells of the Australian bush. Learn about bush foods and medicines and even taste the local Bushtucker which was used as sustenance by the Indigenous and Aboriginal Australians.

    Following a picnic lunch, return to your hotel via the picturesque town of Leura where you will have some time to explore the village at leisure before arriving back at the hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

    Day 4

    Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before boarding your vehicle for the journey back to Sydney and your awaiting ship. En-route, pay a visit to Kings Tableland which affords one of the best views in the Blue Mountains and is home to Wentworth Falls. At the falls, your guide will take you on a 30-minute walk with stunning views of one of the most iconic views of the Jamison Valley.

    Explore the must-see icons of Sydney, including the famed opera house, Royal Botanic Garden and Sydney Tower, all of which will reveal the heart and soul of this extraordinary city.

    DAY 1

    Disembark the ship in Sydney and meet your guide at the pier before starting out on your day tour of the city. Begin with a drive through the city in a luxury coach, stopping for photos of Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Still, the best and most historical vantage point is from Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, a stone seat that was hand-carved out of a rock ledge by convicts in 1810 so that the governor’s wife could enjoy the ultimate harbor view.

    You will then travel to the Royal Botanic Garden, the oldest botanic garden and scientific institution in Australia, for an Aboriginal Heritage Tour. As you walk the grounds, an Aboriginal guide will describe how the indigenous Cadigal people used plants for various purposes. You many also get the chance to sample bush foods.

    Continuing on to the observation deck of Sydney Tower, you will enjoy a sky-high 360-degree view of the city and beyond to the Blue Mountains. Once the tallest building in Australia, the tower soars over the city, making it easy to identify key landmarks below.

    Free time follows at beautiful Bondi Beach, a stretch of golden sand that is one of Sydney’s most visited beaches, especially among surfers. While exploring, you may wish to dine on your own at one of the restaurants that rims the beach.

    One more stop will be made at The Gap on the return to the hotel. The views of the Tasman Sea from atop this oceanside cliff are spectacular.

    You will then spend the evening at the hotel at your leisure with dinner on your own.

    DAY 2

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the Taronga Zoo Sydney for an Aussie Animal

    encounter with indigenous species. As the zookeeper describes the habitats of the animals, you may

    pose with a koala or hold a native owl on your gloved hand.

    You will then proceed to the Sydney Opera House for an exclusive tour, during which you will learn

    about its extraordinary design and why UNESCO deemed it a World Heritage site. The opera house is so

    iconic that it is impossible to think of Sydney without this cultural center coming to mind.

    As the hotel isn’t far off, you can choose to walk back on your own and explore other attractions on the

    way. The evening will be spent cruising through Sydney Harbour and enjoying a sumptuous dinner. The

    Explore the must-see icons of Sydney, including the famed opera house, Royal Botanic Garden and Sydney Tower, all of which will reveal the heart and soul of this extraordinary city.

    DAY 1

    Disembark the ship in Sydney and meet your guide at the pier before starting out on your day tour of the city. Begin with a drive through the city in a luxury coach, stopping for photos of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Still, the best and most historical vantage point is from Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, a stone seat that convicts hand-carved out of a rock ledge in 1810 so that the governor’s wife could enjoy the ultimate harbor view.

    You will then travel to the Royal Botanic Garden, the oldest botanic garden and scientific institution in Australia, for an Aboriginal Heritage Tour. As you walk the grounds, an Aboriginal guide will describe how the indigenous Cadigal people used plants for various purposes. You many also get the chance to sample bush foods.

    Continuing on to the observation deck of Sydney Tower, you will enjoy a sky-high 360-degree view of the city and beyond to the Blue Mountains. Once the tallest building in Australia, the tower soars over the city, making it easy to identify key landmarks below.

    Free time follows at beautiful Bondi Beach, a stretch of golden sand that is one of Sydney’s most visited beaches, especially among surfers. While exploring, you may wish to dine on your own at one of the restaurants that rims the beach.

    One more stop will be made at The Gap on the return to the hotel. The views of the Tasman Sea from atop this oceanside cliff are spectacular.

    You will then spend the evening at the hotel at your leisure with dinner on your own.

    DAY 2

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the Taronga Zoo Sydney for an Aussie Walkabout Tour of the newly opened Nura Diya precinct focusing on indigenous species where your guide will explain the work of Taronga in relation to species preservation, rehabilitation and conservation.

    Experience an open walkthrough of Kangaroo Country, Dingo Country. In Koala Country travel on the boardwalk built high in the treeline and spot koalas! Your guide will be able to answer any questions as you proceed through your walkabout. End tour at the Taronga Institute of Science & Learning where you will gain insight into the world of conservation science currently being undertaken at Taronga Zoo.

    You will then proceed to the Sydney Opera House for an exclusive tour, during which you will learn about its extraordinary design and why UNESCO deemed it a World Heritage site. The opera house is so iconic that it is impossible to think of Sydney without this cultural center coming to mind.

    As the hotel isn’t far off, you can choose to walk back on your own and explore other attractions on the way. The evening will be spent cruising through Sydney Harbour and enjoying a sumptuous dinner. The illuminated city will look absolutely radiant as you sail along the coast.

    Upon returning to the hotel, the remainder of the evening will be at your leisure.

    DAY 3

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then the remainder of the day is at your leisure to further enjoy Sydney’s sights and its surrounds. Perhaps make the 2-hour journey to the scenic Blue Mountains, hop on a Sydney Harbor water ferry and explore all the stops along its route or for the adventurous do the Bridge Climb on the Sydney Harbor Bridge. The staff at the Regent Hospitality desk will be able to assist with any independent sightseeing questions you may have.

    Stay in The Wildlife Retreat within the Taronga Zoo, interact with indigenous animals, explore a national park, stroll a botanical garden and visit a laid-back beach town – all while enjoying Sydney’s stunning natural beauty.

    DAY 1

    Disembark the ship in Sydney, meet your guide and begin the drive north where you will explore the more uncrowded beaches of Sydney. Your destination is Palm Beach, a quintessential beach town where the Australian show “Home and Away” was filmed. Affectionately known as “Palmy” by locals, Palm Beach is located at the end of a long peninsula and boasts beautiful golden sand and clear water, which has inspired the wealthy to build their holiday homes there.

    You will have time to enjoy the vistas before sitting down to lunch in a beach-style restaurant, allowing you to take in the vibe and culture of this beach community.

    Afterwards, you will proceed to your hotel for the next three nights – The Wildlife Retreat, which is located within Australia’s famous Taronga Zoo.

    Once checked in, guests will be free to explore Taronga Zoo when it is open, from the day you arrive through the day you depart. The zoo closes at 4:30pm in the winter and 5:00pm in the summer. You can enter the zoo directly from the Wildlife Retreat. No extra tickets or passes are needed. Your room key will provide entry into the zoo and back into the retreat throughout your stay.

    Your Bushland room has views overlooking a variety native trees and flora. Keep an eye out for the wild birds amongst the bush.

    In the evening, dinner is included at the Me-Gal restaurant onsite and can be enjoyed at your leisure. Guests just need to drop by or call the reception desk to confirm a preferred dining time.

    Note: A guide will not be staying with the group at the hotel.     Following breakfast in the Me-Gal Restaurant, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to the ferry terminal, where you will take a boat shuttle across Sydney Harbor and into the downtown.

    Start with a walk to the Sydney Botanical Gardens, where you will have the opportunity to learn about vast species of Australian plant life that are located in the middle of the city.

    Next, visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales for a guided tour of the newest Sydney Modern Project, which showcases both modern art and remarkable works by Aboriginal artists.

    For an insight into the history of Sydney and the arrival of the first settlers in 1788, you will walk through the historical and cultural area known as The Rocks. There in a pub, you will enjoy an Australian pizza for lunch with a glass of beer or wine.

    In the afternoon, you will return to The Wilderness Retreat and tour The Sanctuary with a park ranger. You can expect an up-close and personal experience with indigenous animals such as koalas, wallabies and echidnas. The ranger will provide you with exclusive access to areas of the park not accessible to the general public, allowing you to meet these remarkable animals and have a real conversation with the experts on the conservation and protection of these unique species.

    The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Dinner is included at the Me-Gal restaurant.

    Following breakfast in the Me-Gal Restaurant, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and set out for a tour of the Ku Ring Gai National Park.

    Here you will find a multitude of gum trees, also known as eucalyptus. Your guide will share stories and showcase how life was for the original inhabitants prior to colonization of the country. Be sure to look for various rock-art sites while you drive through the park.

    Continuing on, arrive to Broken Bay Pearl Farm, where you will meet a group of passionate oyster and pearl cultivators. The visit will provide you with an insight into the area’s natural beauty on land and during a cruise on the Hawkesbury River, where you will see the saltwater paddocks. Learn why the environment there is ideal for growing oysters of all varieties and in turn how oysters give back to people and place.

    Following your visit, return to The Wildlife Retreat for an afternoon at leisure. This is the perfect time to visit the zoo or perhaps head back to the city center to explore on your own. Ferries depart between the zoo and Circular Quay (downtown Sydney) approximately every 30 minutes.

    The evening is also at your leisure with dinner included at the Me-Gal restaurant.

    DAY 1 – December 28, 2025

    After disembarking the ship this morning, board your luxury coach and transfer to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair. This hand-carved stone bench was created by convicts in 1810 for the wife of the state’s Governor General at the time. From here, you will soak in panoramic Harbour views of the city skyline, the Opera House and the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge.

    Continue to the Royal Botanic Garden, the oldest botanic garden and scientific institution in Australia, for an Aboriginal Heritage Tour. As you walk the grounds, an Aboriginal guide will describe how the indigenous Cadigal people used plants for various purposes. You many also get the chance to sample bush foods.

    Lunch today will be on location at the famous Bondi Beach. You will enjoy free time to meander through various boutique stores and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Relax in a close-by café or order fish and chips to go before digging your feet into the soft, golden sand.

    On your way back into the city, pause for a photo stop at ‘The Gap’ for spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the entrance to Sydney Harbour.

    Complete your day of sight-seeing as you make your way to the top of Sydney Tower for 360-degree views of this marvelous city. From this vantage point you’ll witness Sydney from new heights.

    Upon returning to your hotel, the remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure and dinner will be on your own.

    DAY 2 – December 29, 2025

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the Taronga Zoo Sydney for an Aussie

    Walkabout Tour of the newly opened Nura Diya precinct focusing on indigenous species where your guide will explain the work of Taronga in relation to species preservation, rehabilitation and conservation.

    Experience an open walkthrough of Kangaroo Country, Dingo Country. In Koala Country travel on the boardwalk built high in the treeline and spot koalas! Your guide will be able to answer any questions as you proceed through your walkabout. End tour at the Taronga Institute of Science & Learning where you will gain insight into the world of conservation science currently being undertaken at Taronga Zoo. Some free time will be allotted for guests to grab a bite to eat at the zoo.

    Next, transfer back into to the city where you will enjoy a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House with its distinctive sail-like roof while learning about its history, design and current role. You will be enamored by the beauty and distinctive architecture of the most famous performing arts Centre in the world. This beautiful building, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, takes pride of place in one of the most picturesque harbors in the world. The Sydney Opera House was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20, 1973, and is today one of Sydney's most famous landmarks.

    As the hotel isn’t far off, you can choose to walk back on your own and explore other attractions on the way or hop back on the coach for a return transfer to your hotel.

    Reunite with your tour leader in the hotel lobby this evening for a Sydney Harbour Dinner Cruise.     The Hunter Valley has some of Australia’s best wine and food! You’ll visit three local boutique wineries with a guided tasting by a local supplier and behind the scenes tours at select locations.

    In addition to the beautiful wines and hand-crafted produce, enjoy a relaxed two course lunch at Tulloch Winery (or similar) with a wine, beer or cider that allows you to take in the Valley’s charm.

    After returning to your hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure with dinner on your own.

    Travel two hours from Sydney to the magical, World Heritage, Blue Mountains. Enjoy stunning vistas and breathtaking scenery as it unfolds around you when you visit Scenic World, Mt. Tomah Botanical Gardens and King’s Tableland. Also enjoy an informative and easy hike with a National Park Ranger who will relay Dreamtime stories of the Aboriginals who first settled in this area.

    DAY 1

    Disembark the ship in Sydney and meet your guide who will accompany you to the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

    Your first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill; a working farm also home to Kangaroos, Emus, Wombats and Koalas. Enjoy morning tea here and some time to wander at your leisure.

    Continue to the Blue Mountains via the Bells Line of Road. Travel via Richmond, Windsor and Kurrajong before passing by the beautiful orchards of Bilpin. Arrive mid-morning at the Mt. Tomah Botanical Gardens. Sitting at 850 meters above sea level, the Mt. Tomah Botanical Gardens are the most elevated gardens in Australia.     Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel prior to departing for a visit to the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park, home of the famous Three Sisters in Katoomba.

    Upon arrival you will be joined by a Ranger who will share stories and explain the ancient traditions of one of the world’s oldest living cultures. You will even have a chance to taste the local Bushtucker. For those that want to stretch their legs, you can join the ranger for a short hike and take in the sights and smells of the Australian bush. Learn about bush foods and medicines and even taste the local Bushtucker which was used as sustenance by the Indigenous and Aboriginal Australians.

    Following a picnic lunch, travel to the picturesque village of Leura where you will have some time to explore the village at leisure before arriving back at the Fairmont Resort Hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

    DAY 3

    Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before boarding your vehicle for the journey back to Sydney.

    Along the way, stop for a visit at Kings Tableland, which has one of the best views in the Blue Mountains and is home to Wentworth Falls. At the falls, your guide will take you on a 30-minute walk with stunning views of one of the most iconic views of the Jamison Valley.

    In Sydney, check in to your hotel which is located in the city center. The remainder of the day is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

    Guests are restricted to one soft sided duffel type bag and one small carry-on item each. Soft sided suitcases are required due to the light aircraft journey between Cairns and Lizard Island. The weight limit is 25kg/ 55 lbs between both pieces IE - 21kg check-in luggage and 4kg carry-on applies (this is subject to loading restrictions).

    Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)

    1. Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.

    2. The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type)

    3. These documents need to be sent to the Land Program Team via Reservations at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).

    4. Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which the cruise line nor our local ground operator be responsible for.

    Meet and Greet and transfers

    •Final cruise documents will be emailed 21 days prior to sailing. The local ground agent’s telephone number will be on page 1, if you can’t locate the meet-and-greet representative upon arrival. Be aware that the representative may be assisting others and may not be in sight when you first exit Customs and the luggage claim area.

    •Look for someone holding a sign with the cruise line logo and possibly your name. If in doubt, ask the airport staff to direct you to the meeting area for transfers or to page our representative.

    •Meet and Greet and transfers are arranged for guests arriving on Day 1 of a land program or for extra nights booked through the cruise line and are arranged based on the flight details received by guests at least 14 days before sailing. Guests arriving independently before the program start date will not have a transfer included.

    •If we have not received your flight details or your flights have changed, and the Destination Services Land Team has not been notified, then a transfer cannot be provided, and guests will be responsible for getting to the land program hotel at their own expense. Please immediately contact our Reservations Department for any flight changes before departure.

    Flight details between Cairns and Lizard Island (subject to change):

    East Air operates the connecting flight between Cairns and Lizard Island twice daily. The scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef takes around 60 minutes.

    Luggage information

    Guests are restricted to one soft sided duffel type suitcase and one small carry-on item each. Soft suitcases are required due to the light aircraft flight between Cairns and Lizard Island. The weight limit is 25kg/ 55 lbs between both pieces IE - 21kg check-in luggage and 4kg carry-on applies (this is subject to loading restrictions).

    Our local ground operator in Australia will provide each guest with soft sided bag to use on this journey and to keep as a memento of this amazing experience. Excess luggage will be stored in Sydney where guests will be reunited with it on Day 4. Please ensure to label your stored luggage and remember to bring documents, medications and valuables with you.

    Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)

    1. Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.

    2. The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type)

    3. These documents need to be sent to the Land Program Team via Reservations at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).

    4. Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which the cruise line nor our local ground operator be responsible for.

    5. Guests should bring with them on the flight any paperwork from their doctor and /or specific details that explain the type of device they are bringing on board. Each brand should have a website with paperwork that can be printed for flight.

    Documents and Visa Requirements:

    A passport that is valid at least 6 months after travel is required

    Please check with your local embassy for any visa requirements for your nationality.

    If a visa is required:

    VERY IMPORTANT

    The name on your cruise booking, passport and any visas if required, must all be exactly the same for flight ticket purchase for this program otherwise guests may be denied travel by flight. Please ensure that all documents are identical in spelling to the names provided for your cruise reservation including first, middle and last name. Manifests generated by the cruise line must match your travel documents.

    Failure to have the required documents ahead of time will result in denial of travel and guests will have to pay for any expenses incurred in order to not proceed with the program.

    Explore the must-see icons of Sydney, including the famed opera house, Royal Botanic Garden and Sydney Tower, all of which will reveal the heart and soul of this extraordinary city.

    DAY 1

    After flying into Sydney, you will transfer to the Four Seasons Hotel, where you will spend the next three evenings. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure, allowing you to do whatever you wish. You might settle in at the hotel or consult with the hospitality desk for suggestions on what to see nearby. Lunch and dinner will be on your own.

    DAY 2

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you will drive through the city in a luxury coach, stopping for photos of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Still, the best and most historical vantage point is from Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, a stone seat that convicts hand-carved out of a rock ledge in 1810 so that the governor’s wife could enjoy the ultimate harbor view.

    You will then travel to the Royal Botanic Garden, the oldest botanic garden and scientific institution in Australia, for an Aboriginal Heritage Tour. As you walk the grounds, an Aboriginal guide will describe how the indigenous Cadigal people used plants for various purposes. You many also get the chance to sample bush foods.

    Continuing on to the observation deck of Sydney Tower, you will enjoy a sky-high 360-degree view of the city and beyond to the Blue Mountains. Once the tallest building in Australia, the tower soars over the city, making it easy to identify key landmarks below.

    Free time follows at beautiful Bondi Beach, a stretch of golden sand that is one of Sydney’s most visited beaches, especially among surfers. While exploring, you may wish to dine on your own at one of the restaurants that rims the beach.

    One more stop will be made at The Gap on the return to the hotel. The views of the Tasman Sea from atop this oceanside cliff are spectacular.

    You will then spend the evening at the hotel at your leisure with dinner on your own.

    DAY 3

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the Taronga Zoo Sydney for an Aussie

    Walkabout Tour of the newly opened Nura Diya precinct focusing on indigenous species where your guide will explain the work of Taronga in relation to species preservation, rehabilitation and conservation.

    Experience an open walkthrough of Kangaroo Country, Dingo Country. In Koala Country travel on the boardwalk built high in the treeline and spot koalas! Your guide will be able to answer any questions as you proceed through your walkabout. End tour at the Taronga Institute of Science & Learning where you will gain insight into the world of conservation science currently being undertaken at Taronga Zoo.

    You will then proceed to the Sydney Opera House for an exclusive tour, during which you will learn about its extraordinary design and why UNESCO deemed it a World Heritage site. The opera house is so iconic that it is impossible to think of Sydney without this cultural center coming to mind.

    As the hotel isn’t far off, you can choose to walk back on your own and explore other attractions on the way. The evening will be spent cruising through Sydney Harbour and enjoying a sumptuous dinner. The illuminated city will look absolutely radiant as you sail along the coast.

    Upon returning to the hotel, the remainder of the evening will be at your leisure.

    DAY 4

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy free time until check out. First Fleet Park is an easy walk away and offers one last look at beautiful Sydney Harbour.

    In time, you will transfer to the port and board your cruise ship.
