Take advantage of our best deals and start planning your unforgettable journey to the world's most inspiring destinations.

Discover Buenos Aires through authentic local experiences such as attending a traditional tango performance, exploring distinctive neighborhoods, and enjoying an Argentine asado featuring grilled meats at a country ranch.
DAY 1
After flying to Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, you will proceed through Customs and claim your luggage. You will then be met and transferred to your hotel.
Check-in is 3:00pm. Although every effort will be made to have rooms available earlier, this cannot be guaranteed. If you are arriving early, you may wish to book an extra night to guarantee immediate check-in.
The remainder of the day will be at your leisure, and lunch and dinner will be on your own.
DAY 2
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will spend the day at a traditional estancia ranch in the countryside, a beautiful land that is home to the gaucho. The owners will be your hosts, and during your stay they will regale you with stories about the differences between modern country life and country life years ago.
Lunch will be a hearty asado of grilled meats with empanadas, accompanied by excellent Argentinian wines.
The entertainment will be just as outstanding. You will enjoy folk songs and dances, equestrian activities and an extraordinary demonstration of traditional gaucho skills, such as ring races and horse races and games.
Following your time at the estancia, you will return to the hotel to spend the evening. Dinner will be on your own.
DAY 3
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will begin a half-day sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires, starting in the neighborhood La Boca, where you will view El Caminito, a street that is an open-air museum of sorts full of brightly colored buildings. Some claim the tango originated here around 1870, and tango dancers are often seen performing impromptu in the streets.
Continuing, you will pass the city hall and Metropolitan Cathedral, which is adorned with frescoes and elaborate artwork. You will also see Casa Rosado, the executive mansion. President Juan Peron and his wife Eva, more affectionately known as Evita, delivered numerous speeches from the balcony.
Then, it’s on to the affluent La Recoleta neighborhood and the Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place for Argentina’s wealthy and powerful. It holds thousands of grandiose mausoleums containing the remains of generals, sports figures and most famously Evita.
A snack at Café Tortoni follows. This historic cafe has served as the artistic and intellectual capital of Buenos Aires since 1858, hosting notable guests such as Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges. Founded in 1858, the café is the oldest coffee shop in the country.
After touring the city, you will return to your hotel for lunch on own.
Your evening will be spent watching an authentic tango performance over dinner. Although the exact origin of the tango is unclear, there is no denying that the sultry dance is mesmerizing. The rhythmic music and mournful lyrics are just as alluring, as they often tell a story of lust, betrayal and loneliness. You don’t have to speak the language to feel the passion of tango.
After the tango performance, you will return to the hotel for the evening.
DAY 4
After breakfast and check out, transfer to the ship for embarkation.
Land Program Details Step by Step
•The order of sites visited may vary to avoid congestion. Program times are approximate, given here for general reference purposes and subject to change.
•Itineraries with the up-to-date details will be issued when you are emailed your final cruise documents 21 days prior to sailing. You will then receive a final itinerary from our ground operator with a Welcome Letter upon arrival or at your hotel. Please review the letter and your final itinerary carefully for further amendments.
•The hotels used for your land program will be the hotels listed in this document unless you have been advised otherwise in advance of the land program start date.
•Guests failing to arrive on Day 1 of a scheduled land program will be considered a no-show and their hotel space released.
Extra Nights
•All extra nights booked through the cruise line are confirmed at the hotel that is used on the FIRST NIGHT of your land program.
•If you book extra nights through the cruise line, you will be met as per the flight details provided and transferred to your hotel. Check-in is 3:00pm (subject to change). Meals other than breakfast, as well as activities, are on your own until day 2 of the program.
•If you have an early-arriving flight, you may wish to book an extra night as your room will not be ready for occupation until approximately 3:00pm.
•If you book extra nights on your own, transfers are not included.
DAY 1
Fly into Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel for a 3:00pm check-in.
The remainder of the day and evening is at your leisure.
Lunch and dinner are on your own.
Overnight at the Sofitel Recoletta or similar hotel
Meet and Greet and transfers
•Final cruise documents will be emailed 21 days prior to sailing. The local ground agent’s telephone number will be on page 1, if you can’t locate the meet-and-greet representative upon arrival. Be aware that the representative may be assisting others and may not be in sight when you first exit Customs and the luggage claim area.
•Look for someone holding a sign with the cruise line logo and possibly your name. If in doubt, ask the airport staff to direct you to the meeting area for transfers or to page our representative.
•Meet and Greet and transfers are arranged for guests arriving on Day 1 of a land program or for extra nights booked through the cruise line and are arranged based on the flight details received by guests at least 14 days before sailing. Guests arriving independently before the program start date will not have a transfer included.
•If we have not received your flight details or your flights have changed, and the Destination Services Land Team has not been notified, then a transfer cannot be provided, and guests will be responsible for getting to the land program hotel at their own expense. Leaving from El Calafate drive to the south and reach panoramic points from which you will contemplate the immensity of the landscape. Return to the National Park for lunch at one of its restaurants. After lunch approach the glacier by walking down catwalks that will present several other panoramic viewpoints of this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. Chances are, you will see and hear large chunks of ice calving from the glacier and thundering into the water of Lago Argentino. It will be an experience that you will not soon forget.

Delve into the sacred and mysterious landmarks of the Inca Empire, including the famed Machu Picchu, Lost City of the Incas, and other ancient temples, all important archaeological monuments from the Inca Empire.
Special Notes:
•Please ensure passport details are added to your cruise booking right away so that Machu Picchu entry tickets can be purchased. Please verify the expiry date – passports must be valid for at least six months after travel in order to enter Peru.
•As this is an active program that takes place at high altitudes, we strongly recommend that all guests consult with their physician regarding their ability to participate prior to signing up. This program is not recommended for guests who require the use of a wheelchair or walker due the variety of surfaces required to be navigated. Any guests travelling with Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines should read further below for airline stipulations with regards to bringing this equipment on tour. Scooters are not permitted.
•Please advise the RSSC Reservations team when you book this program should you have any special dietary restrictions or requirements. Requests will be sent to our local ground operators for review.
DAY 1
Following disembarkation from the ship in Lima, transfer to the domestic airport for a flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, get acquainted with the area on a city tour.
Note: please separate any luggage that will not accompany you to Cusco prior to disembarking. It will be stored in Lima where you will be reunited with it on Day 3 when you return to Lima. Please remember to bring any medications, valuables and documents with you. Please make sure that any luggage to be stored is properly tagged with your name and suite number on the ship. We suggest bringing a carry on to Cusco only – keeping in mind restrictions for liquids, gels etc.
After lunch at a local restaurant, visit with the splendid Baroque-style Cusco Cathedral, built in the mid-1500s on the foundations of an Inca palace. Many of the stones used in its construction were looted from the nearby Sacsayhuaman fortress.
Next, visit the sacred site of Koricancha. Here, we will admire the lovely Dominican Convent of Santo Domingo that was built on the foundations of the Temple of the Sun, the most sumptuous temple in the Inca Empire. The curved, mortar-less masonry wall at the west end of the church is one of the greatest existing examples of Inca stonework.
Continuing, the next stop is Sacsayhuaman fortress. Strategically located on a hill overlooking Cusco, the fortress was constructed without mortar like many other Inca structures. Yet the enormous stones (some weighing 200 tons) of the remaining walls fit so tightly that not even a thin blade of grass can slide between them. The craftsmanship is a stunning example of the Inca’s sophisticated construction techniques and architectural skills.
After the visit of the city and sights, check into the Monasterio, a Belmond hotel. Dinner is included at the hotel. Your Deluxe Room is enriched with oxygen to promote better sleep and faster adjustment to the high altitude.
DAY 2
Following breakfast, you will drive to the train station and board the First Class train. Brunch will be served during the journey, as you take in the spectacular Andean scenery en route to Machu Picchu.
Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, there is a short walk to the bus station where you will board a transfer bus to the ruins. Enter the site of Machu Picchu where you will explore the famous “Lost City of the Incas.” This citadel in the clouds was constructed as a royal retreat for the Inca emperor Pachacuti in the 1400s but was abandoned less than 100 years later, its population probably devastated by smallpox. Because the Spanish conquistadors never found this hidden city, Bingham discovered it largely intact.
Architectural highlights include the Temple of the Sun, designed much like the one in Cusco, several other temples, hundreds of terraces, and a mysterious carved stone situated on a raised platform that towers above the plaza. This stone may have been used for astronomical observations, but no one knows for certain. The Inca had no written language, so there is no record of Machu Picchu’s ultimate purpose. In fact, scholars are still striving to uncover clues as to its mysteries.
After visiting Machu Picchu, board the Hiram Bingham Train and begin the journey back to the Rio Sagrado Train Station. Dinner is served on board the train. Upon arrival, return to your hotel in Cusco for the night.
Note: Machu Picchu stands at approximately 2,450 m above sea level, and Cuzco at 3,400 m. At these heights, there’s 20 per cent less oxygen in the air. In the vast majority of cases, symptoms of altitude sickness are very mild (a little sleepiness or a slightly foggy head) and wear off after a day or two, but it can make doing anything energetic feel like a struggle. It is recommended that you speak to your physician prior to signing up to discuss any potential side effects based on your medical history. Due to the amount of walking and over uneven terrain and/or steps, this program is not recommended for guests with limited mobility. Should you require use of any mobility aids, you may be required to hire a separate guide in order to assist along the way. Vehicles are not permitted inside the site.
DAY 3
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Cusco airport for a flight to Lima. Upon arrival, the group is met and transferred to the Westin Lima Hotel and Convention Center or similar in the city.
Guests will be reunited with any stored luggage.
The remainder of the day is at your leisure with lunch and dinner on own.
DAY 4
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.
Check out time is at 12:00pm.
You will be transferred to the Lima International Airport based on the flight details provided. If you have a late flight, you may wish to book an additional night to keep your room longer than the scheduled check out time of 12 noon. Day rooms can only be purchased directly with the hotel or you can check out, store luggage with the Concierge and continue to enjoy the facilities of the hotel until your transfer.

DAY 1
After disembarking the ship in Lima, meet your guide and start your tour with a visit to Monumental Callao, which was once one of the spiciest neighborhoods and is now one of the most important landmarks of art and social transformation in Peru. During some free time, visit a gallery or exhibition or perhaps do some souvenir shopping.
You will then savor a spectacular lunch at Café del Museo Restaurant.
After lunch, proceed to Lima’s main square, where Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro founded the “City of Kings” in 1535. The Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace and the Lima Cathedral all surround the square. You will visit the cathedral where Pizarro is buried.
Next, you will see the Santo Domingo Convent, the oldest church and convent in Lima. The foundation of Santo Domingo was conceived by Friar Tomas de San Martin, who later served as the Preceptor Prior of the Dominican Order.
Construction began in 1540, and the convent was later renovated to its present neo-classical style in the 18th century. It is a city within a city of sorts, comprised of a succession of cloisters and yards surrounded by service areas and communal rooms. Spanish Saint San Juan Masias is buried in the convent.
Following this tour of some of the city’s most historic spots, proceed to your hotel for check in and overnight. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.
DAY 2
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to and visit Huaca Mateo Salado, a monumental, pre-Hispanic archaeological complex in the middle of a residential area. Its five stepped and truncated pyramids as well as the considerable size of the complex (16.4 hectares), make it one of the most important archaeological complexes on the central coast of Peru.
Continue to Museo Amano which houses a valuable collection of textiles from pre-Hispanic civilizations and then visit a modern home containing the treasures of the Luna Elias-Polo family, who will greet you and show off their extensive collection of Nativity scenes from Peru and around the world.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the quaint Barranco district where one stately mansion after another comes into view. This area is known for its rich cultural history and artistic atmosphere.
Nearby visit the unique Puente de los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs) where lovers gather for love promises. This iconic wooden pedestrian bridge was built in 1877 out of the necessity to connect both sides of the ravine. Its architecture is simple, yet over time it has become one of the most romantic spots in the city of Lima and an inspiration for numerous legends, songs, and poems.
As this day of discovery comes to an end, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a picturesque drive to the outskirts of Lima to explore the ruins of Pachacamac. This large excavated pre-Columbian complex of buildings includes an extraordinary pyramid and temples and a highly sophisticated irrigation and reservoir system. Pachacamac may have been the site of an oracle, as pilgrims visited for centuries.
For a more contemporary look at life in the country, you will visit an estate where Peruvian Paso horses are bred. Known for its unique high stepping and comfortable gait, the Peruvian Paso horse has become a symbol for the coastal region of Peru. The horses will display their skills as you learn about their origins and uses over lunch.
Upon returning to the hotel, you will enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure with dinner on your own.
DAY 4
After breakfast at the hotel and checking out, you will be transferred to the Lima International Airport based on the flight details provided. Check out time is at 12:00pm. DAY 1
This morning, embark on a marine excursion to the Palomino Islands, lying just off the port of Callao. These rocky islets are alive with wildlife: colonies of sea lions bask on the sun-warmed rocks or dive playfully into the waves, while cormorants, pelicans, and other seabirds sweep across the skies. The dramatic cliffs and crisp ocean air make this a refreshing escape so close to the city.
Back on shore, continue to Monumental Callao, a historic quarter reborn through art and creativity. Colorful murals, design studios, and contemporary galleries tell the story of a neighborhood transformed by culture.
For those who wish, an optional Afro-Peruvian masterclass invites you to go beyond observation—learning the rhythms of the cajón, the steps of the zapateo, and the stories behind these traditions. Afterward, proceed to the port of Lima where the program comes to an end and you will embark your ship.
Before checking in at your hotel for an afternoon at leisure, pause at a seaside restaurant perched along the cliffs of Miraflores to enjoy lunch and your first taste of Lima’s world-renowned gastronomy.
The InterContinental Lima Miraflores Hotel is a modern five-star property, ideally located next to Larcomar, Lima’s famous oceanfront shopping and dining center. During your stay, enjoy exclusive access to the Club Floors and their dedicated amenities.
Note: Keep passports handy as they will be required to be shown when visiting the Palomino Islands. A Waiver Form will also need to be filled out.
DAY 2
Following breakfast at the hotel meet your guide to visit to Lima’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where grand plazas and baroque facades tell stories of the Spanish conquest and the viceroyal era.
Walking through its elegant streets, visit churches and landmarks that have shaped the “City of Kings.” Your journey continues at Casa De Aliaga, the oldest residence in the Americas still inhabited by the same family for 17 generations, where courtyards, a private chapel, and salons bring Lima’s past vividly to life.
Afterward, return to the hotel for some rest and time to enjoy lunch at leisure.
In the evening, head to the Museo Larco, housed in an 18th-century mansion and celebrated for its outstanding pre-Columbian collection. The visit is enriched by a private curatorial encounter, offering privileged insights into Peru as a cradle of civilization through masterpieces of its ancient cultures.
Dinner follows on the museum’s renowned rooftop terrace, with views over lush gardens.
DAY 3
Following breakfast at the hotel meet your guide to discover why Lima is celebrated as the gastronomic capital of South America. The experience begins in a traditional market, where the colors and aromas of fruits, herbs, and tubers reveal the extraordinary diversity of Peru’s regions and climates.
You will also visit specialized spaces dedicated to iconic products such as cacao, coffee, and pisco, learning how these ingredients have become symbols of national identity.
A hands-on cooking demonstration follows, guided by a local chef who will introduce us to Peru’s most emblematic dishes and the stories behind them.
In the afternoon, continue to Barranco, Lima’s bohemian district, where contemporary galleries and local design spaces coexist with historic mansions and seaside views. Walking through its vibrant streets, you will explore both the creative pulse of the city and the echoes of its past, making this a day of full immersion into Lima’s flavors, art, and culture.
DAY 4
This morning after breakfast you will be at leisure until your transfer. A private van will be used to transfer you to Lima’s Jorge Chavez International Airport according to your flight schedule. Do not forget to settle any incidentals prior to departing the hotel. Should you have a late flight, luggage storage will be available at the hotel until your transfer. Check out time is at 12:00pm.

DAY 1 - Saturday, March 6, 2027
After disembarking in San Antonio, Chile, meet your guide and transfer to the airport for a scheduled flight to Arequipa, Peru connecting through Lima. Upon arrival in Arequipa, the group will be met and transferred to the hotel where dinner is included.
DAY 2 - Sunday, March 7, 2027
Following breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and transfer to the impressive Carmen Alto viewpoint, where you will enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. Continue to the colonial district of Yanahuara, a charming neighborhood of narrow cobblestone streets and traditional white houses built of volcanic stone. From here, admire magnificent views of the three volcanoes that dominate the skyline: Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu.
Visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, the most important and impressive religious monument in Peru. Founded in 1579, this vast walled citadel gradually expanded to include cloisters, plazas, narrow streets, tiled roofs, and cobblestone paths. For centuries, it functioned as a secluded convent for nuns from the city’s most distinguished families.
Next, enjoy a walking tour of Arequipa’s UNESCO-listed Historic Centre, including the Plaza de Armas. Known as the “White City,” Arequipa owes its nickname to the extensive use of sillar, a white volcanic stone used in the construction of its churches, mansions, and civic buildings. The historic center reflects a remarkable fusion of European and indigenous architectural techniques, brought to life by colonial masters as well as Criollo and Indigenous artisans.
After lunch at a local restaurant, depart by road to the Colca Canyon where upon arrival the group will enjoy dinner before retiring for the night.
DAY 3 - Monday, March 8, 2027
After an early breakfast, depart very early in the morning towards the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where you will observe the impressive depths of the Colca Canyon, considered deeper than the Grand Canyon in Colorado. This is one of the best places to witness the majestic flight of Andean condors in their natural habitat.
Continue the journey with visits to the traditional villages of Maca and Yanque, home to beautiful colonial-era churches. Along the way, stop at the scenic viewpoints of Wayra Punku and Antahuilque, offering striking panoramic views of the canyon and surrounding landscapes.
Lunch and dinner will be enjoyed back at your hotel in the Colca Valley.
DAY 4 - Tuesday, March 9, 2027
Following breakfast at the hotel, settle any incidentals and check out. Meet your guide and depart by road for Arequipa Airport, with a box lunch provided en route.
