Description

Walk through the storied Margaux vineyards in the southernmost part of the Médoc wine region and savor a wine tasting and snack afterwards. To reach the starting point, you will drive along the famed Route des Châteaux that passes through many of the area’s most acclaimed wineries. You will then enjoy a unique perspective of several estates and their vineyards on a leisurely walk through the Margaux region with a guide that will describe the characteristics of the wines produced there. Those wineries include the famed Château Margaux, Château Palmer and Château Rauzan-Ségla, which is owned by the family that controls the Chanel fashion and fragrance empire. Upon arriving at Château Marquis de Terme, you will snack on locally made chocolates, cheeses and a rum-flavored canelé cake. You will also sample several elegant Margaux red wines from the château, which is among those that earned a Grand Cru Classé designation for quality.

There is no rain cover along the vineyard walk, so guests are recommended to bring an umbrella, boots, and a rain jacket in case of inclement weather.
