Take advantage of our best deals and start planning your unforgettable journey to the world's most inspiring destinations.

Nature lovers and adventure seekers, join us on this unforgettable 4-day journey through Iceland’s most spectacular regions and experience the land of fire and ice in all its glory! From powerful waterfalls and black sand beaches to bubbling geothermal areas and historic landmarks, this journey will take you through the country’s most iconic sights along the South Coast, Golden Circle, and Reykjanes Peninsula.
Special Notes:
This program involves walking at times over uneven and/or icy ground and some sites have limited access. As such, this program is not recommended for guests with walking difficulty or for those who require the use of a wheelchair, walker, or cane.
As part of our commitment to providing you with an authentic dining experience, we want to let you know that some of the included meals may feature fish as either an appetizer or main course, since fish is a staple in the Icelandic diet.
If you have any food intolerances or special dietary needs, please inform us prior to your departure for review by our local vendors. It is important that your land program extension reflects these details to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to the menu on the day of the meal, so advance notice is essential.
DAY 1
After flying into Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik, you will proceed to the baggage claim area, and through customs after which you will be met by your driver. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Once you settle in, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.
Relax and unwind from your flight in your room, enjoy the hotel’s amenities or head out to explore the city of Reykjavik.
All meals are on your own today.
Check in time at the hotel is 3:00pm
DAY 2
After breakfast and check out, meet your guide in the lobby, and set off for a picturesque drive to the south coast of Iceland.
Feel the power of nature at the Lava Show, enjoy a hearty lunch in the small town of Vík and then observe the power of the sea and stunning rock formations at the Black Beach.
Witness the majestic beauty of the flowing waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss followed by a visit to the Skogar Folk Museum where you will explore exhibits showcasing life, culture, technology, and architecture in rural Iceland in the 19th century.
Arrive at your hotel in Hvolsvöllur and check in and then enjoy a group dinner at the hotel before retiring for the evening.
DAY 3
After breakfast and check out, meet your guide, and depart for a tour along the Golden Circle.
During this full day journey, you will make a stop at the Geysir geothermal area to watch Strokkur, an explosive geyser, which erupts every few minutes, and approximately 15-20 meters up in the air.
Enjoy lunch at the Geysir Restaurant before boarding Sleipnir, the one-of-a-kind monster glacier truck, which will take you on a ride on Langjökull Glacier. There you will have the option of playing golf and sipping on hot chocolate, tea or pure glacier water while enjoying Icelandic pastries in a scenic spot with stunning views.
Coming off the glacier, next up is Gullfoss, the “Golden Waterfall” one of the most famed waterfalls in the country. Should you wish, take a dip in the peaceful Laugarás Lagoon, nestled among mountains and a whitewash river. (Wear your bathing suit, towels will be provided).
The last stop en route to the capital of Reykjavik is Thingvellir National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated in a rift valley showcasing the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Here enjoy a 15-minute photo stop at Hakið viewing platform which is a short walk from the parking area.
Arriving back in Reykjavik you will check in to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure with dinner on your own.
DAY 4
After breakfast and check out, meet your guide, and proceed to the rough and rugged Reykjanes Peninsula.
The first stop will be at the Viking World Museum, which is home to the authentic 9th-century Viking ship, the Icelander. The museum has five independent exhibitions about the Viking Age, including a Smithsonian exhibition about the Vikings of the North Atlantic.
Stop at the Bridge Between Continents, a small footbridge over a major fissure which provides clear evidence of the presence of a diverging plate margin. The bridge was built as a symbol for the connection between Europe and North America.
Next, the world-famous Blue Lagoon awaits you with a unique bathing experience and lunch at Lava Restaurant.
Included is entrance to the Blue Lagoon, a silica mud mask, towel, 1 drink at the lagoon bar and a two-course lunch with one drink at Lava Restaurant after your Blue Lagoon visit. There are lounges and a bar where guests can relax if not bathing. Swimwear is required. Towels will be provided and bathrobes are available for rent.
Following a relaxing swim in the hot waters of the Blue Lagoon, you will be transported to the pier for embarkation.

The weather in Iceland can be extremely unpredictable however June, July and August are the official summer months. Also note that it’s bright all day and night in the summer months. In June, Iceland celebrates their longest days of the year. And literally, for a few weeks – the sun simply doesn’t set at all.
The average temperature in June is 48°F / 9°C
The average temperature in July is 51°F / 10.7°C
The average temperature in August is 56°F / 13°C
What to Bring:
Warm layered clothing such as thermals, fleece and a good jacket, bathing suit, good sturdy shoes, medicines, hat, sunscreen, camera, chargers
Local Currency:
Local currency is Icelandic Krona. However, many companies accept EUR, GBP, and USD bills only, no coins and change is given back in ISK.
Electricity
European standard 220 Volts. We recommend bringing your own travel adaptor for electric devices.
Luggage information
Luggage will accompany the group. Although staying in the best hotels in the area, porterage service is not a standard service in Icelandic hotels. Very few hotels in Iceland have porterage staff full time and if they do it is normally 1 porter. As a result, you could experience a delay in delivering your luggage to your room depending on the size of the group. You may prefer to take your suitcase with you to your rooms.
For guests who use a CPAP breathing machine:
Many hotels do not readily provide distilled water. While we can request this for you, we cannot guarantee that it will be available. Some hotels charge for this and if so, it will be added to your hotel incidental charges to be paid upon check out.
Due to Iceland’s extremely clean, low-mineral water that comes from naturally filtrated sources, it is safe to use tap water and bottled water for CPAP machines without any issues for short-term use.
Distilled water can be purchased at pharmacies.
Documents and Visa Requirements:
A passport that is valid for at least 6 months after travel is required.
Please check with your local embassy for any visa requirements for your nationality.

View the staggeringly beautiful natural wonders of Iceland – known as the Land of Fire and Ice for its volcanoes and glaciers – and come away with a deep respect for the country’s strict environmental policies.
Special Note: Due to limited access at some sites, this program is not recommended for guests with extreme walking difficulty or for those who require the use of a wheelchair.
DAY 1
After arriving at the Keflavík airport, you will transfer to your city-based hotel.
Check in time is at 3:00pm. Should your flight be scheduled to arrive sooner than this, you may wish to purchase an extra night so your room is ready upon your arrival. Otherwise, luggage storage will be available at the hotel until your room is available.
Note: Described as a “stylish hotel in the heart of Reykjavik”, your hotel is a landmark building which has the perfect address for exploring the city sights. Although the rooms are comfortable, they are basic.
The remainder of the day will be at your leisure with meals on your own.
The team at the Regent Seven Seas Hospitality desk can offer recommendations for sightseeing and dining.
DAY 2
After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and depart for Þingvellir National Park, an attraction of great historical, geological and cultural significance. It is located in a rift valley where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. The site is also where Iceland’s Parliament was founded in 930 AD. Thingvellir became Iceland’s first national park in 1930 and is home to Iceland’s largest natural lake, Thingvallavatn. Visit Öxarárfoss Waterfall.
Continuing on, you will head for the Geysir geothermal area in Haukadalur Valley, home to the Geysir hot spring. Although Geysir doesn’t erupt often, it is surrounded by bubbling cauldrons of superheated mud, steaming pools and Strokkur, a geyser that erupts every 6-10 minutes. The geothermal activity at this popular destination is much like that happening all across and beneath Iceland that naturally powers countless hot tubs, swimming pools and greenhouses.
That same energy is used to bake bread underground at the aptly named Geothermal Bakery. After learning about the process, give it a try! You can slather on butter and top the bread with a piece of herring or trout. Note: The process of baking and extracting the bread from the ground is only done at certain times in the day. Seeing this process cannot be guaranteed.
You will next visit Gullfoss Waterfalls, whose name comes from the golden color of its water as it churns up silt and sediment. These magnificent waterfalls in the Hvitá River are fed by Langjökull, Iceland’s second largest glacier. The cascades are more than 100 feet high and fall in two tiers making for a magnificent sight. If not for the tenacity of a local environmental activist, Gullfoss would have been covered by the waters of a proposed hydroelectric dam.
After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Friðheimar farm which offers a horse show called Meeting with the Icelandic Horse. The show gives you an insight into the story of this remarkable horse breed which was brought to Iceland by the first settlers from Scandinavia around 900 AD. The Icelandic horse is small, sturdy breed, famed for its five gaits: in addition to the walk, trot and gallop, Icelandic horses have the tölt (a smooth run) and skeið (flying pace).
Finally, you will see Kerið, a volcanic crater lake located in the Grímsnes area that is one of the most visually stunning geological wonders in the country. This vibrant blue gem, which is part of the Western Volcanic Zone that includes the Reykjanes peninsula and the Langjökull Glacier, is it one of the three most recognizable volcanic craters in Iceland because of its unique red rock.
Once you return to your hotel, the remainder of the day will be at your leisure with dinner on your own.
DAY 3
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for a full day of touring South Iceland. While traveling through a mountain pass and into fertile farmland, you will enjoy astonishing views of the countryside, especially along this section of the Ring Road, which is flanked by rugged mountains, glittering glaciers and towering volcanoes.
A comfort stop will be made at LAVA Center where you will see a short educational movie about volcanic activity that reveals the lava theme that is an integral part of Iceland especially now with the active eruption near Grindavik.
Depending on the weather conditions, you may see Eyjafjallajökull, the site of a volcanic eruption in 2010 that was so enormous that its ash cloud halted Europe’s air traffic for several days.
Behold the beauty of Seljalandsfoss waterfall as it tumbles off Eyjafjallajökull Glacier into a deep pool below. If you don’t mind getting wet, you can walk behind the cascade to see it from the other side.
Just before lunch, an exterior visit is made at Vik Church, famous for its postcard views and after lunch you will stroll along the black volcanic sand beach at Reynisfjara. The basalt sea stacks rising out of the water there are absolutely spectacular.
From a distance, view Sólheimajökull Glacier, a glacier tongue of Mýrdalsjökull – the 4th largest glacier in Iceland and then visit Skógafoss Waterfall, one of the largest waterfalls in the country. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is frequently seen on sunny days.
Upon returning to your hotel, the remainder of the day will be at your leisure with dinner on your own.
DAY 4
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will drive to Perlan, a nature museum with a revolving observation deck that offers a stunning 360° view of Reykjavik.
Then, it’s off to the world’s only live lava show, a highly engaging experience that recreates a volcanic eruption by superheating real lava that slowly flows into a special area of the showroom. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows you to get so close to molten lava that you can hear it sizzling and feel its intense heat.
After the show, you will drive to the port of Reykjavik for embarkation.

DAY 2
London is a city that inspires and amazes! A capital that basks in its rich history where around every corner there is something new, yet something very familiar. We take you on a tour of this majestic city, fully guided by a London expert.
Your day begins in a Royal Palace after breakfast at your hotel and a short drive outside the city.
On the banks of the river Thames, Hampton Court Palace started life in 1515 as a magnificent brick stately home for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey. Seized by Henry VIII at Wolsey's downfall, the Palace was enlarged and became home for Henry and wife number two, Anne Boleyn.
Explore with a Hampton Court guide the Tudor bedrooms, oak panelled corridors, and extensive Royal kitchens. Visit the magnificent chapel and banqueting hall. See how the Palace received a makeover by Sir Christopher Wren during the late 17th century reign of William and Mary. Enjoy the works of art from the Royal Collection on display throughout the building and take time to stroll around the grounds, admiring the fountains and getting yourself lost in the famous Hampton Court maze!
Return to the city for a 2-course lunch in a London restaurant to enjoy a ‘Taste of Britain’ menu followed by a cruise along the Thames River. Sip a glass of champagne as you pass by the iconic Tower Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral, and the Palace of Westminster. (Boat is not exclusive to RSSC).
In the afternoon enjoy a guided panoramic tour of the city, starting from Parliament and Westminster Abbey, peer along Downing Street, home of the British Prime Minister, circle around Trafalgar Square, see vibrant Piccadilly Circus and the opulent Albert Memorial and view the city's famous museums such as the Victoria and Albert and the Science Museum. Head into Knightsbridge to drive by Harrods and then take a short walk for a photo stop outside Buckingham Palace before returning to your hotel at the end of this entertaining and rewarding day.
Please note: Parts of the itinerary may be reversed depending on local traffic conditions.
Upon returning to your hotel, the evening is at spent at your leisure, dinner is on your own.
DAY 3
After breakfast at your hotel, begin the day with a journey to England's West Country, to the elegant city of Bath, famed for its therapeutic hot springs, a long and varied Roman history plus the beautiful terraces, crescents and circuses of the 18th Century that adorn the residential area of the city.
Bath's foundations go back to Celtic times when the springs were first discovered, and the healing properties realized. Enjoying the warm waters, the Roman invaders soon arrived in the first century and called this place Aquae Sulis turning it into one of the most important religious centers and military settlements in the northern part of the empire.
Through the Saxon era and the Mediaeval period up to the city's new foundation as a resort for Georgian aristocrats, making the three-day journey from the capital, the wealthy elite would take the waters to cure themselves of rheumatic diseases, stiffness of the joints and gout.
On arrival in Bath there will be a guided tour where you will walk along the original Roman pavement, before entering the Roman Baths to see the hot baths and remains of the temple of Sulis Minerva.
Next, take a drive though the delightful rolling hills and meandering streams of the Cotswolds, to honey-coloured stone villages down narrow country lanes. Time seems to have been given very little chance to march forward around these parts. Cottages of 17th century weavers’ homes stand next to chuckling streams, gentle rolling green hills and hidden valleys that stretch across these limestone uplands. With an expert guide on board your coach you will set about exploring this area and meander through this wonderful landscape.
Visit Burford where the old weavers’ houses cascade down to the valley of the river Windrush below and see Stow on the Wold with its ancient marketplace and hilltop views. Enjoy a hearty pub lunch in an old English hostelry during your journey around the Cotswold Hills as well as photo stops and guided walks in each of the villages you call into.
Please note: Parts of the itinerary may be reversed depending on local traffic conditions.
Back in London at your hotel, the remainder of the evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.
DAY 4
After breakfast, the morning is free for independent sightseeing or perhaps a spot of last-minute shopping in some of London’s famous stores.
Room check-out is at 12:00pm, however arrangements can be made for the hotel to securely store your luggage should you need longer. Late check-out can only be booked at the hotel while you are there any may incur additional charges. For a guaranteed late check-out in advance an additional night would need to be purchased.

Vans hold a maximum of four pieces of large luggage (total) plus one carry-on sized bag per person. A sedan will be used for solo guests, which can hold 2 large suitcases and a carry-on. En route, stop for a visit to Stonehenge, one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Entry to the site is included, with an audio guide.
Depending on entry time at Stonehenge, your arrival to the hotel will be approximately 3:00pm, in time for check in.
The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure for independent exploration. All meals are on your own today.
DAY 2
London is a city that inspires and amazes! A capital that basks in its rich history where around every corner there is something new, yet something familiar. We take you on a tour of this majestic city, fully guided by a London expert.
Start this day of discovery with a tour of the Crown Jewels within the historic Tower of London.
You will be met by one of the guardians of this royal fortress upon arrival - a magnificently dressed Yeoman Warder, or 'Beefeater' who will show you symbols of over 800 years of monarchy. Marvel at the Imperial State Crown and gaze in wonder at the Cullinan diamond, the largest clear-cut diamond in the world. An amazing collection of intricate jewellery and precious metals which are still in use today for coronations and special events.
Note: Your tour of the Crown Jewels may not be exclusive to RSSC.
There is plenty of time to explore the rest of this ancient fortress, see the site of executions at the scaffold, visit the Beauchamp Tower adorned with the graffiti of prisoners over 500 years ago. Climb the thousand-year-old White Tower and learn the gruesome history of the Bloody Tower.
This is followed by a 2-course lunch in a top London restaurant to enjoy a ‘Taste of Britain’ menu followed by a cruise on the Thames River. Sip Champagne as you pass by the iconic Tower Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral and the Palace of Westminster.
DAY 3
Travel to a surprisingly unique and deeply fascinating corner of Britain, the beautiful county of Kent, with its lush green landscape, bountiful orchards, fruit markets and bustling vegetable farms it is known, quite rightly, as The Garden of England.
But Kent is not just a collection of charming villages and narrow country lanes, its proximity to the continent has made it both a rewarding and dangerous place to be. Whether it be Roman or Norman invaders, the arrival of Christianity through St Augustine, or French Huguenot refugees escaping persecution, the county of Kent has seen it all.
More recently, though, it was in the firing line from Luftwaffe during World War Two, specifically the Battle of Britain in 1940. The sky over the county echoed to the sound of dogfights between the Royal Air Force and the enemy.
Enjoy a drive into the heart of the region, through fields of market produce, tomatoes, onions, orchards of apples and the ever-present hop fields.
Pay a visit to the Battle of Britain memorial that overlooks the famous White Cliffs of the South Coast. From here, as we look out to the French coast, we make the short journey to Dover Castle, the largest castle in England. Visit the 2,000-year-old Roman lighthouse, Henry II's magnificent 12th century stone keep and explore the extensive range of tunnels dating from the Napoleonic Wars and World War Two.
Depart the coast and stop at an award-winning vineyard to show how the region's mild climate helps grow the varied produce that finds its way to the markets of London. Learn the processes and methods to transform fruit
into great wines, followed by a 2-course lunch and time for tasting.
Before heading back to London, enjoy a drive into the heart of the region, through fields of market produce, tomatoes, onions, orchards of apples and the ever-present hop fields. Pause in the delightful village of Tenterden along the way. Tenterden is often referred to as the "Jewel of the Weald" due to its charming, historic town center and surrounding countryside. The town boasts a picturesque, well-preserved medieval center with a tree-lined high street and historic buildings.
Back in London, the remainder of the evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.
