Note: A private van or SUV will be used to transfer couples or parties of two between the airport and the hotel. Vans hold a maximum of four pieces of large luggage (total) plus one carry-on sized bag per person. A sedan will be used for solo guests, which can hold 2 large suitcases and a carry-on. If you will have more luggage, a larger vehicle may be required for additional cost. Please advise your booking agent at least 14 days before sailing if a larger vehicle is required. After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a free morning and afternoon at your leisure.

As evening descends on this tropical paradise and the last rays of the setting sun light up the sky with a warm red glow, the shadows and sounds of the night join together to cast a spell over the island, infusing it with an aura of mysticism. As twilight falls, you will travel by coach to Celuk Village, home of Silver and Gold Jewelers. The trade of silver and gold jeweler has become part of everyone’s life in Celuk.

Then, proceed to Bali's own amazing Bird Park. Here, an open-air dining area located in the center of the Park provides the setting for a delicious traditional Indonesian dinner. As you relax and enjoy your meal, the unique sounds of the native birds as they settle for the evening provide a tranquil background of nature's own music.

Following your meal, you will witness the utterly unique and fascinating performance of the Kecak Dance. Kecak is a ritual dance that recounts a tale from the Ramayana, an epic story that found its way from India to Indonesia. During the performance, the only musical accompaniment is the chanting that is supplied by men who are positioned in a concentric circle on the stage. As the men chant and rhythmically sway to the music, colorfully costumed dancers weave and intertwine their way amongst them. With the stage lit only by glowing torches, the shadows cast by the dancers combined with the haunting chanting, create a truly mesmerizing and unforgettable experience.

At the designated time, you'll check out and begin the day's exploration, starting with a journey to the Bali Bird Park. Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of tropical birds and enjoy lunch in an open-air dining area located at the center of the park, which provides the perfect setting for a delicious traditional Indonesian meal. As you relax and enjoy your meal, the unique sounds of native birds settling in for the evening create a tranquil background nature’s own music.

The journey continues with a short drive to a traditional Balinese house compound. The Balinese home is often viewed as a living organism. Much like a human being, it has a head (the ancestral shrine), arms (the sleeping quarters and living room) and legs and feet (the kitchen and rice granaries.) This up-close gives you a glimpse into conventional Balinese life.

Next, visit a local Batik factory. This lovely Balinese tradition has been passed down for generations and at the workshop you will have an opportunity to admire the distinctive artistry and technique that goes into producing the famous batik cloth. There will be time afforded here to shop for a souvenir to take home. After the cultural experience, you’ll head south for your arrival at Andaz Bali, where you'll check in and unwind in a luxurious beachfront setting.

After breakfast at the hotel and a morning at leisure, check out and transfer to the port in Benoa for embarkation.
