With your luxury hotel’s prime location, you’ll find it easy to spend your days exploring the beautiful Place Massena and the world-famous Promenade des Anglais.

Meals are on your own today.

    DAY 2 – July 4, 2026

Following a buffet breakfast at your hotel meet your guide in the lobby and set off to discover the Principality of Monaco. In the old town of Monaco, also called “the Rock”, follow your guide for a walking tour passing by the Oceanographic Museum, the Cathedral and in front of the Prince's Palace. After some free time for photos, a short bus drive along part of the Formula 1 racetrack will bring you to Monte Carlo.

Admire the scenic views of the port as you reach the glamorous Casino de Monte Carlo. Designed by Charles Garnier, a pioneer of the Belle Époque architecture adorning the streets in Paris, the casino building was inaugurated by Charles III of Monaco in 1863 and is an emblematic part of any trip to Monaco. During your visit to the casino take in the refined atmosphere and its breathtaking décor.

Next, drive to and visit the picturesque medieval village of Eze which is built on a promontory overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Eze features the ruins of a 12th-century, fortified castle perched on a rocky peak and offers scenic views and photo opportunities.

Your tour continues to a world-renowned Michelin-star restaurant Chateau Eza, where you will indulge in a three-course seasonal menu carefully crafted by the restaurant's acclaimed chefs, offering a true taste of culinary excellence. A half bottle of wine, water and coffee are included per person.

In the afternoon, after an orientation tour of Eze with your guide, visit the Fragonard perfume factory to discover the art of perfume creation along with a fun test of your sense of smell. You will also see the laboratories where the products are crafted. Following this visit, you'll return to your hotel in Nice. Dinner is on your own.

Note: Guides are not authorized to do a guided visit inside Monaco cathedral. They will do their commentary in front of the cathedral and then guests can enter on their own. Inside visits might not be possible during religious ceremonies. Attire at Chateau Eza is chic but casual. Short shorts and flip flops are not permitted.

    DAY 3 – July 5, 2026

Following a buffet breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide in the lobby and enjoy a guided tour through the heart of the Old Town, known as "Vieux Nice." With its narrow streets, colorful buildings, and Baroque architecture, this historic district is a treasure trove of culture and tradition. Your guide will share fascinating stories of its Italian influences, hidden gems, and local traditions.

Next, enter “Cave Bianchi” where you will be introduced to wine production from the region and have the chance to delight yourself with the taste of three different local wines, accompanied with cheese and small canapés.

After the tasting, you'll have time to explore the famous Cours Saleya market, a bustling open-air market filled with vibrant flowers, fresh produce, and artisan goods. From fragrant lavender and handmade soaps to local delicacies like olives and pastries, the market offers a true taste of the French Riviera. You can wander freely through the stalls, soaking up the Mediterranean atmosphere and perhaps indulging in a café stop before the next part of your journey.

Enjoy a delightful three-course lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of the region’s fresh cuisine. 1/3 bottle of wine, water and coffee is included per person.

Next, take the road towards Antibes, another gem of the Riviera. Here, you'll be treated to a guided tour of this picturesque seaside town, known for its ancient fortifications, charming streets, and vibrant marina. A highlight will be a visit to the Picasso Museum which is located in the historic Château Grimaldi. This museum houses an impressive collection of Picasso's works, offering a unique insight into the artist’s time on the Côte d'Azur.

You’ll have some free time to explore Antibes—whether it’s strolling along the fortifications or discovering a hidden café or boutique in the old town before returning to your hotel in Nice for an evening at your leisure. Dinner is on your own.

    DAY 4 – July 6, 2026

Please advise RSSC no later than 100 days before departure if you are travelling with other guests on this program. This is to ensure that you are placed in the same Vatican entrance group. Once the Vatican tickets are purchased, changes cannot be made. Guests will also be required to show identification when entering the Vatican.

    DAY 1

Upon disembarkation in Civitavecchia, you will be picked up at the cruise port and transferred to the Millenium Grand Hotel Palace in Rome. This 5-star boutique hotel enjoys a privileged city center location, on via Veneto, the Dolce Vita street. It features marble floors, chandeliers made of Murano crystal, and stunning frescoes by Venetian artist Guido Cadorin.

Check in is at 3:00pm, and the rest of the day is yours to settle in at your leisure. Guests are welcome to store luggage with the Bell Captain until rooms are ready.

The museums contain some of the world’s greatest paintings and sculptures, including works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Caravaggio. Besides seeing the most well-known exhibits like the Sistine Chapel, you will also visit areas usually closed to the general public, including the tomb of Pope Pius XII and the Niccoline Chapel, which features the lives of St. Lawrence and St. Stephen.

Note: When the Niccoline Chapel is not available, we will substitute with a visit to the “private room of the tears and the room of Pope’s vestments.

After the visit you will return back to your hotel. Lunch is on your own.

The Stadium was commissioned around 80 AD by the Emperor Titus Flavius Domitianus as a gift to the people of Rome and was used mostly for athletic contests. After the visit you will enjoy a cocktail in this amazing location.

Also, at Domitian Stadium there are 20 steps with no elevator.

    DAY 3

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will drive East from Rome toward Tivoli.

Tivoli is a small town on the lower slopes of the Apennines where the river Aniene plunges in cascades into the Roman plain. The villas testify to Tivoli’s importance as a holiday resort from the Roman period through the Renaissance. Tivoli or Tibur in antiquity came under Roman control in the 4C BC and it was there that a Sibyl prophesied the coming of Jesus Christ to the Emperor Augustus.

Visit Villa D’Este, masterpiece of the Italian Garden, and included in the UNESCO world heritage list. With its impressive concentration of fountains, nymphs, grottoes, plays of water, and music, it constitutes a much-copied model for European gardens in the mannerist and baroque styles.

After the visit, enjoy some free time to wonder through the colorful open-air market selling all sorts of souvenirs, fruits and local products, then enjoy lunch in a beautiful restaurant overlooking another one of Tivoli’s sights, the beautiful Villa Gregoriana. Drive back to the hotel.

In time, you will return to your hotel where the remainder of the day and dinner are on your own.

NOTE: for guests with mobility restrictions, the Villa d'Este Gardens are not accessible for wheelchairs or scooters. Only the first floor will be accessible in the Villa. The restaurant in Tivoli has approximately 40 steps to enter without an elevator.
