Enjoy a balance of idyllic days luxuriating at your beachfront hotel and exploring cultural landmarks that include a Hindu temple, bustling markets, countryside villages and a monument that commemorate Bali’s independence.
DAY 1
You are met at the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali and transferred to your hotel where the day is at your leisure to enjoy the amenities of the resort or to head out and see some of the local sites on your own.
The Apurva Kempinski Bali is a luxurious beachfront hotel perched atop a majestic cliff and offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.
Check in is at 3:00pm. Although every effort will be made to have rooms available before this time, this cannot be guaranteed. Guests arriving early are welcome to store their luggage at Reception and begin enjoying the resort.
All meals on are your own today.
DAY 2
Following breakfast at the hotel, the morning will be at your leisure, allowing you to explore freely and then enjoy lunch on your own.
Later in the day you will be met and transferred to a lovely beachside restaurant in the Nusa Dua area where you will enjoy a delicious dinner of authentic Indonesian and Balinese dishes. .
Following dinner, return to your hotel where the evening is at leisure.
DAY 3
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel followed by a journey into the countryside to visit small villages known for their trades and local temples.
Your first stop is at Celuk Village which is known for its production of gold and silver handicrafts. Here, almost all of the villagers are skilled at crafting beautiful pieces that are sold worldwide.
Continue to Penglipuran Culture Village where you will be charmed by the beautifully landscaped homes sitting neatly in a row along a street that runs through the center of the village toward the local temple. The village people live under strict rules just like their ancestors centuries ago, and their architecture is a reflection of this tradition: the front side of the house faces Mt. Agung, home of the gods and each house has its own temple.
Through the years, Penglipuran Village has evolved into a community-based tourism destination. You can enter any of the houses where you’ll be welcomed by friendly residents who are typically willing to show you around their compound, each following old Balinese spatial and architectural rules.
Following a typical Balinese lunch, return to your hotel where the remainder of the day and evening are at your leisure with dinner on your own.
DAY 4
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before settling any incidentals and checking out. En-route to the ship you will drive to Denpasar City, the current capital of Bali Province. Historically, it was the capital of the Badung Empire, controlling the southern region of Bali Island from the end of 18th century until conquered by the Dutch in 1906.
Your first stop will be at the Bajra Sandhi Monument, which commemorates the Balinese struggle against Dutch colonialism. Designed in the shape of a Hindu bell, the monument contains dozens of detailed dioramas that depict Bali’s long history, including the introduction of Hinduism and the country’s eventual independence.
Next, visit the traditional Badung Market which is located in the heart of the city. It is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day making it the busiest market in Bali. This market has become the main trade center for all convenience goods from groceries to spices, fish and meat, clothing, kitchen crafts and batik textiles. It offers a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of the lives of the locals. If you find something you like don’t be shy to negotiate!
Next, visit the glorious Temple of Jagatnatha, a Hindu Kahyangan Temple.
Stop briefly at the Bali Beach Hotel for a refreshment break prior to transferring to the port where you will embark the ship.

Day 1 – April 5, 2026
Once you have disembarked your ship in Laem Chabang, you will be met and transferred to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport for a flight to Siem Reap.
On arrival in Siem Reap you will be met and assisted with obtaining your Cambodian Entry Visa.
Transfer to your hotel for lunch, check-in and enjoy some time at leisure before an included dinner at your hotel.
DAY 2 – April 6, 2026
After breakfast, bring good luck, happiness, and prosperity to your life with a holy water blessing performed by Buddhist monks in Siem Reap. Water blessings are a traditional Cambodian practice that dates back several centuries. At a local pagoda, the monks begin with a ritual chant and lightly sprinkle holy water over you to attract positive light and energy. A red string is tied around your wrist to complete the ritual.
You will then meet your guide and transfer to the Apopo Hero Rats Center, a registered Belgian non-governmental organization and US non-profit which trains southern giant pouched rats to detect landmines and tuberculosis. Visit their small museum and learn more about the challenges of mine clearance in Cambodia and around the world. You can even see their rats in action.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
This afternoon, visit Angkor Thom, the former capital of the great Khmer empire. Enter through the South Gate, a massive four-faced edifice which is guarded by a line of gods and demons carved from stone.
Inside the city walls, you’ll come face-to-face with the Bayon, an imposing 12th century structure commissioned by one the empire’s most revered rulers, King Jayavarman VII. Continue to Baphuon, a sanctuary dedicated to Brahmanism, and Phimeanakas Temple, a place of worship for kings. Then visit the Terrace of the Elephants, an impressive two-and-a-half meter (eight-foot) tall wall used as a ceremonial stage, and the Terrace of the Leper King with its amazingly well-detailed bas reliefs.
Continue to Ta Prohm, a beautiful temple that appears to have been claimed by nature thanks to the strangler figs and kapok trees that have entwined themselves around the crumbling stone ruins. A photographer’s paradise, the temple seems to be held together by the thick roots in places; your guide will show you the most popular photo opportunities.
Experience a wonderfully serene moment, drifting along the moat of the ancient walled city of Angkor in a traditional Khmer gondola at sunset. Board your small vessel near the South Gate of Angkor Thom, then drink in the peaceful early-evening atmosphere as the gondola begins to glide. Sip a glass of wine or two and enjoy a selection of canapés in the quiet and tranquil surroundings. If you wish, you can make a stop and walk to Prasat Chrung temple where you are rewarded with magical views at twilight. This sunset gondola experience includes one set of canapés plus free-flow local beer, red and white house wine, chilled juices, and soft drinks.
Return to your hotel for some free time and dinner at your hotel.
Day 3 – April 7, 2026
The morning begins with a visit to the ruins of Angkor Wat. Imagine centuries ago, the surrounding villages, markets and temples coming alive with the dawn of a new day. This UNESCO site is a glorious example of classical Khmer architecture, which is regarded by many as the quintessential Angkor experience. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.
After your visit, lunch will be served at a local restaurant and then the afternoon is at your leisure.
This evening, enjoy a magical dining experience amid ancient Angkor with rare access to the grounds of a historical temple at night. You are transported to the temple venue, approximately 10 kilometers (six miles) from downtown Siem Reap, where you are greeted the sound of Khmer drums. Follow the torchlit path into the dining venue and enjoy dinner and drinks accompanied by traditional dance and music.

*Please avoid uncovered shoulders, shorts or revealing clothing.
*Full length trousers or pants and/or skirts covering the knees are required to be worn when visiting Angkor Wat
Bring a hat or a head covering for sun protection and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, and bug spray (you should have mosquito repellent for sunrise and sunset hours). Guests are requested to take off their footwear and hats when visiting religious sites.
Local Currency:
Guests are encouraged to bring US Dollars with them as they are most commonly accepted in Cambodia. The local currency is the Cambodian Riel. Luggage information

3.CPAP Machine to be used during flight – same as above + a doctor’s note is required mentioning the need to use the machine during flight.
*Guests are required to bring with them any details from the manufacturer regarding the CPAP specifications. While most modern CPAP machines are FAA-approved for in-flight use, having a copy of your manufacturer’s FAA-approval status will help to quickly clear any confusion that may arise.
* Failure to provide the above details in a timely manner may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which Regent Seven Seas Cruises nor our local ground operator will be responsible for.
*Some hotels do not provide distilled water. While we can certainly request this for you, we cannot guarantee that it will be available. If received in a timely manner, at least 95 days before sailing, requests will be sent on the final manifest that our ground operators and hotels receive. We highly recommend packing your own supply especially on programs that travel to more remote locations in order to avoid not having it. Please keep in mind the rule for liquids in carry-on bags. Many hotels will charge for distilled water. If there is a fee, this will be added to your hotel incidental account to be paid at check-out. Fees will vary from hotel to hotel.

Another highlight is a visit to Ta Prohm Temple, famous for its forest atmosphere with enormous fig trees. This temple looks just as it did when the first European explorer arrived. tomb on the top tower.
Your guide will point out the best spots for taking photos of this massive temple complex as you walk amidst the moss-peppered cobbled pathways, gaze up at the intricately carved tower tops and perhaps climb the steep and narrow temple steps that lead to wide courtyards.
